This is ideal for small area. Cooks great with small amount of charcoal. Grill holds more than you would think. Easy cleanup and upkeep. Definitely buy the custom cover that is also offered to keep weather at bay.

I bought this little guy needing something smaller than my huge grill when i only had a few burgers or steaks to grill and this Lodge didn't disappoint. I have a number of other Lodge items (Dutch ovens, skillets and fry pans) and absolutely love them. This grill is a bit heavy, no packing it into the backwoods, but if you're an avid car or Jeep camper this will serve you well.
My only "problem" with the grill is that fatty foods will drip down below the coals and drain out the front of the grill, where the draft door is. not a problem where i have my set up, but someone using this on a sidewalk or landscaped patio my have issues with grease staining the area under the grill.

Lodge makes a great product. As with everything else, expensive, but well built and will last years if properly cared for.
