I've seen rave reviews for Exfolikate & always wanted to try it but the price kept me away. I received a sample with another purchase so I was excited to give it a try. I don't have overly sensitive skin but just to be sure, I tried it on the inside of my wrist to make sure it would be ok. After the test went well, I gave it a try. I was happy to see how easy it was to use. Simply apply an even layer to a clean wet face , leave on for 20-30 seconds and then wash off. No scrubbing, no leaving it on for minutes at a time. The first thing I noticed was the scent, it's not exactly pleasant but not so bad that it would prevent me from purchasing either. I applied a thin layer and felt no burning or uncomfortable sensations & then washed off. Redness is listed as a possible side effect for up to 20 minutes. I had some in a few spots but nothing horrible. My skin felt ok, nothing that would really "wow" me, no noticed smoothness or softness other then ordinary. What I noticed was 24 hours later. I was in the shower, washing my face with a very gentle face cleanser & my face felt sore to the touch. After I was out of the shower for about 30 minutes I looked in a mirror and was horrified to see my face was all red & blotchy. It did fade and was just irritation apparantly. Why my face was still reacting like this 24 hours after I had used this product, I had no idea. The following morning, as I did my make up I noticed some breakouts which I brushed off because I know good products cause temporary break outs as they clean out the pores. But then I noticed a couple of small little spots where my skin was sort of peeling. My gut feeling is that this product was just too harsh for my skin. I have used harsh products before and not had these reactions. Even if my face did not have this reaction, the benefits I noticed still don't justify the high price. For that price I want something that will make my skin feel & look spectacular! Since I had a sample, I did not get to try the packaging but have heard from others that it can be difficult to use. I definately won't use again. If you have sensitive skin, the product does clearly warn not to use it.

I do agree with other reviewers and think that $85 is a bit much for any exfoliator. Hovever, if you have the money, I definitely suggest splurging on this product. ExfoliKate is amazing. First of all, you only need a tiny bit of the product for each use, so one tube will last a VERY long time. This is a quick and painless exfoliator that smells great and doesn't cause any burning or severe redness. My face looks fresher after every use. I'll definitely repurchase this.

Got this as a sample when ordering some stuff from sephora and after just one use my face felt amazing. My face was soft and smooth. A bit pricey. But worth it to me!!!
