I've gone three stinkin' years with no covering for two doors. One leads to my backyard, one to my breezeway, so it wasn't as bad as it could've been, but it was still creepy at night. It was a little disconcerting when I was in my family room to have someone walk into the breezeway (to knock at the back door)....not to mention embarrassing if the room was a mess or I was in my PJs! I just didn't know how to cover it (other than the occasional sheet I resorted to). The curtain panels and permanent rods were more than I wanted to invest in a rental house and were outside my budget anyway. I was searching around on the internet, trying to find a cheaper alternative, and literally just stumbled on this product. Could privacy really be this easy...and inexpensive?! It looked like (on my doors at least) the knob and lock would be in the way of the blinds. I didn't want to have to return two if it didn't work out, so I only ordered one. It came today, and my family and I are celebrating! (Really, it's not too strong of a word!) I'm not a really handy person, and I have to say it was by far the easiest thing I've ever installed in my house. (An adhesive toothbrush holder takes more work!) And it looks so good! So that's why I'm back on here....to order another one for the other door. My only regret is that I didn't order them both two days ago...or better yet, 3 years ago!

these blinds works as advertize. they come with four magnets, the two at the top are more than strong enough to support the weight of the blinds. but the two that are supposed to hold the bottom in place are worthless. the blinds them selves are of a cheap quality but they are made of aluminum.

The magnets are strong and the blind stays in place. The slats are flimsy. Overall, the Magnet Mini Blind works well.
